1-hydroxy ethylidene-1,1-diphosphonic acid (HEDP)

Hydroxyethylidene diphosphonic acid (HEDP), CAS 2809-21-4, formula C₂H₈O₇P₂, MW 206.03. Water-miscible, stable at high pH, low toxicity. Good scale inhibition below 200°C; decomposes above 250°C. Acid- and alkali-resistant. Forms stable complexes with Fe, Cu, Al, Zn, etc., and dissolves metal surface oxides. Low-arsenic grade: As ≤3.0 ppm.

Directions for Use

HEDP is acidic. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, or clothing. In case of contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water.

Solid: plastic woven bags with polyethylene liner, 25 kg net per bag; custom packing available

Storage: store indoors in a cool, ventilated place; keep dry and away from direct sunlight
