AA/AMPS is copolymer of acrylic acid and 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid (AMPS). With carboxylic and sulfonic groups in molecular structure, it features high calcium tolerance, excellent scale inhibition and dispersion for calcium carbonate, calcium phosphate and zinc scale. It shows obvious synergistic effect when blended with organophosphorus. Suitable for water of high pH, high alkalinity and high hardness, ideal for high concentration ratio operation.
